Booooo.. Summer is almost over! And we are winding things down into slightly cooler weather. There are going to be cooler days and chilly nights. And before you know it (as all the Halloween decorations are starting to show up!) it will be FALL.

I love fall. Fall for fashion, fall for crisp air. But NOT fall INSTEAD of summer.

Fall also means my birthday is coming up – yay! Closer to being 30….

Happy Thursday lovelies!

Summer has been strange here in TO. Warm and chilly in the evenings, then hot and hot at night…but I sure do love those warm summer breezes…because goodness knows I get a chill when it’s 25+ with wind.

Everything has been good over here, busy and vacations and well just summer life. It is so short lived in Canada as we have a full 4 seasons to go through.

Hope you are enjoying your summer(s) or season wherever you are!

Man is this a polar vortex or what! Us Canadians sure know how to make it feel really darn cold. I mean I guess I shouldn’t complain, as Minnesota had about -60 degrees celsius temps. So -40 here isn’t that bad.  I am dying for some warm weather. To remember what sunshine feels like on my face and maybe what sweating feels like too.

This is too cold Canada. Too cold.

I mean the bf’s fingers were falling off just about now, the UGH you want WHAT… PICTURES. REALLY. NOW! What a sport. In the 5 or so minutes we take these in an underground parking lot. He complained.

What a guy…hehehe.

Well with this weekend approaching I really hope that we get into the single digit numbers…even if it is the negative ones. I’ll take a good old -5 right now. Thanks.

Happy (warm) weekend lovelies!

Oh boy was that trip fun. So as you can see we didn’t do a crazy amount of stuff. The Big Island is a pretty chill island. There are things to do and places to see, but most of it is like a huge day trip. It is the biggest island, and that means plenty of driving. Not to mention the fact that we were there during the government shutdown, and the Ironman competition…which meant busy busy busy.

Because things were so busy, we decided to just mostly stay around the resort, or do small day trips to beaches.

The town in the top pictures, is called Hawi (ha-Vi). It was small and quaint. We had some yummy ice cream and then headed elsewhere. But small interesting details, like the wooden carving face on the old chipping painted buildings. Details that are just really neat…that make you remember that this is totally a beach town.

So as the water washes away our little memory note on the beach…the 10 days went by so quickly. I can’t wait to go back to another island in a few years. Like I said…I love it there…too much!

Happy Friday lovelies, have a great weekend!

I can’t believe it has taken me this long to show you our trip. I mean where to start. I am pretty much obsessed with that place. It is magical. As soon as we stepped off our second plane ride, after about 14 hours of travel time…I knew it was all worth it. I don’t know how to explain it, but it is so strange, it is like I am almost home. My home away from home. The warm air off that plane, the humidity, the salt in the air. No matter of the fact that it was pitch black outside, and I was starving and pretty much dying to have a shower…I felt amazing.

Where to start, well of course having not been to a beach for some time, that is where our adventures began. We waited the entire first day at the lagoon, as we basked in the sunshine, drank tropical drinks..and just waited until the family got here. Boy was it glorious, and as soon as they did get here…we got back in the water all over again.

I wish I took more pictures, but getting used to not taking pictures with my iPhone is a tough concept.

P.S. My suit is from Victoria’s Secret and my headband is from Forever 21.

Happy Monday lovelies!

Free People seems to be the new boho, the new hippie, the new rebel…really the new everything. And since the sister works there it only seems to be just about right that well we are inspired by what they have. We almost always have been, and I assume that we always will.

Just before it began to get cold, we had a few warm days here and there – and boy was it lovely! So here is to those warm days, where it could be still the end of summer kinda day!

xoxo Thanks for reading, happy Thursday!
