Let’s get real….why 30 is not the new 20…

So I came across this video on FB. And I thought it was really interesting. I mean so many people I know, people in their 20s just don’t seem to be in any kind of rush to really start their lives. I mean we party hard, we work, and then we do it all over again. I’ve written before about growing up, and how “domestic life” for some couples can come so easily…and then for some it does not. We all know the friends who are still single, or don’t really feel like they need someone else.

Don’t get me wrong, I mean those people are great people. But sometimes letting life pass you by is not the answer. Now these are all just my opinions, so don’t hate. I just find these conversations interesting. I mean it really gets you thinking. I’ve always been told that life is better when you have people around you to share your accomplishments – and I could not agree more.

My sister and I have sometimes feel older for our age because maybe we are products of divorced parents, therefore we had to grow up a little bit quicker. Maybe we are both already small business owners because we are entrepreneurial. Or maybe it is just the way we were raised and who we are. I wouldn’t say I am in a rush…but I am definitely focused on living the best life I can.

Hope you like or at least it makes all you 20 somethings really think about creating the best life possible sooner rather than later.

Thanks for reading!

Thanks for sharing this TED talk. It definitely makes you think, especially about how our brains re-wire at the end of our 20’s so this is the best time to solidify habits and be who you want to be as an adult! Great post as always.

Sincerely, this is exactly what I needed. I’ve been very pensive over the last weeks. Kind of: what is all about?
So, being in my 26 and searching for some guidance, this amazing video has come just in the right time.
Thank you girls for sharing such an interesting information.
