I have been looking and gravitating towards some beautiful things lately. Very dramatic, yet classy.

I feel like I am dressing more “sophisticated” now that I am getting older, and I would love to be able to pull of big jewels and drama always – how fab would that be!

Happy Wednesday lovelies!

The bf and I spent the weekend in Muskoka and boy was it lovely, we topped it off with a lunch date at a beautiful hotel (not the Sleep Inn where we originally stayed…hahaha not worth the $130/night price tag).

It was sunny and lovely! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Thanks for reading!

Oh my Buns. He is the cutest isn’t he! I love him dearly, and he is the sweetest thing ever. The thing about Buns is he has little dog syndrome aka he barks constantly, he is super needy, and spoiled.

I didn’t tell you guys yet, but we were trying to adopt a dog from the Humane Society that I volunteer at. It didn’t work out, because she went to a family without another dog. Because Bunny can be difficult. So I made a proactive decision to get him a trainer, to train us and to train him. And so far…it is working, but he has become quite unsure of what is going on and is a little meek. I am really worried that he is losing his personality, but then what part of his personality was just demanding and spoiled?

Any thoughts/ideas/input here from you guys would be fab. We are only 2 days into training, and the ideas are simple, straightforward and do not cause him any real discomfort except maybe being meek. (The trainer we have has a no choke chain/clicker/prong collars/treats/physical discipline etc. so don’t worry!). The training mostly involves around us growling, and clapping/stomping/throwing these small pillow pouches over his head.

Being one of his Mama’s I am a bit worried, but we will see how it goes. The barking has seriously lessened, and he is obeying (mostly), he is really good on walks..but we are working on fear aggression with other dogs.

Ugh.That is my life. My poor baby…

With the weather being a tad bit rainy and cooler than usual..all I can think about is wearing a shirt and some pants. But good thing for fashion blogs and all the lovely followers that I follow on Pinterest – they keep me inspired.

Here were my attempts: 1, 2, 3.

How have you worn the chambray?

Happy Wednesday, I am off to see the lovely fur babies I volunteer for!

It seems like IKAT is everywhere these days. Fashion houses start it…and then eventually it weeds it’s way into home decor and everyday fashion brands. Accessories are usually the last, as they jump on the fact that there is this evident trend going on. I have always loved it, and love certain patterns of it as it can definitely can be overdone. Some of my clients really don’t like it though- they think it is too trendy.

Happy Tuesday lovelies!

Jacket: Zara – similar here | T-shirt: Zara- similar here | Jeans: Zara- similar here | Shoes: Converse | Bag: Louis Vuitton | Jewellery: Club Monaco- want this one, GLAMROCKS design,  Ann Taylor (love this one), Stella & Dot

So I have had those Converse for maybe at least 5 years. When all the hype was about wearing Chucks. I barely wore them, gave them to my sister, and then I thought, because of fashionista’s on Pinterest.. I might as well give em a try again.

This was what I wore to sweet talk the Apple or Rogers guy into a) giving me a new phone b) fixing mine for free.

Fixed my phone, and didn’t need a new one, unfortunately…

Maybe next time…as my “usual” Apple guy was no where to be found (he’s the one who always gives me free stuff and fixes my computer).

Little did I know I was wearing every single thing Zara..until now. Hahaha.

Happy Thursday lovelies!

Dress: sister’s Zara | Shoes: Christian Louboutin, similar | Sunnies: Versace, similar | Bracelets: Ann Taylor – seriously want this one, Stella & Dot, Madewell, similar | Watch: Kate Spade | Rings: Nicola Chong Jewellery & GLAMROCKS design

So I did it. I bit the bullet. Pulled the trigger. Saved like there was no tomorrow…and got them. And let me tell you.

I L O V E T H E M.

Almost so much that it would seem pathetic. I mean they are shoes right. Just shoes. Shoes with a killer heel, an amazing cut out by the toes, a colour I can wear almost everyday, and that red. Oh my that perfect shade of RED.

Do they hurt your feet. Of course- when I wear them for an entire night. But so do my $20 shoes, and they hurt so much more. I love how my feet look in them, how slender my legs look. Ok maybe this is a love love relationship with my shoes – I know I’ll stop.

But so I wore them to the wedding we went to, and then this outfit to a bridal shower yesterday. With the sister’s brand spanking new Zara dress which is now sold out- yes-Great purchase!

Now onto bigger things…should I get them in black? Just kidding…I may wait a bit. But man, hot shoes can seriously make a girl feel special.

Happy Monday!

Let’s get real…

I love weddings. I love the idea of having a day to share in someones love, to watch real men cry, to watch pieces of art that are wedding gowns parade down that aisle. I love eating great food, getting to drink as much as you want, and party like there is no tomorrow. I love having an event to go to, with someone/people I love and share a great night out with almost no care in the world.

I am not the girl who has her wedding planned. Nor am I the girl who has “dreamed” about this day her whole life.

I am just the girl who loves going to beautiful events. The girl who knows pretty much exactly what she wants about everything.

I am the girl who knows exactly which song she would love to dance to with her guy- this one. Which photographer she wants – this one. Who she wants to write signs like the ones above - this one. The girl who knows most definitely that she will have peonies at her wedding- a family sentiment. Who also maybe has made an entire board of gorgeous weddings she loves, and would love to have eventually.

I know what I want…for that day…when it comes. Don’t worry, you will know…

But I have always loved weddings..and cannot wait for this weekend when the bf and I attend a seriously awesome black tie affair- may have gotten a kick-ass dress in coral, and spoiled myself with my first pair of Louboutin heels- in nude. It is gonna be a James Bond kind of night-eeeeek!

Happy Thursday lovelies!
