Toast!

Hey everyone, so remember when I mentioned that there would be big events. It seems like 2013 is our year huh!

Maya being preggers, Nest getting their first ever Muskoka cottage, and now….

…no not engaged…

I am starting a new company, an Event Design one. Teaming up with Steamwhistle Brewery- my friend Dana- I will now cater to birthday parties, baby showers, open houses, dinner parties, weddings…you name it!

I decided to call it Toast, because I wanted it to be about celebrations. Nothing specific to the style of party, but something everyone can relate to, like Nest.

After hosting Maya’s baby shower, I contacted Prairie Girl Bakery here in Toronto…and now they are using some of my pics on their FB page, and in their marketing – yay!

Chevron!!!

I think every girl on this planet is currently obsessed with chevron or at least she has been for the last few months. As you might have noticed chevron is really in right now … I was at a grocery lineup yesterday and I noticed that Jennifer Love Hewitt is on the cover of Shape magazine wearing a gorgeous 2 piece pink chevron bikini. Just love it!

The bf left today. I drove him to airport this morning…only to come back to a quiet house. Ok so maybe I sort of, kind of miss him.

Don’t tell him!

Kidding, after 5 years it is nice to miss someone who can sometimes drive you totally and utterly crazy.

But I must say he is a silly goose, and I do love him dearly. Plus I have to keep him around to take pictures of me for you guys right?

The wedding of the season…

I know I know… I am actually blogging before my plane leaves…too committed I tell you ; ).

This past weekend, my entire family got invited to a family friends wedding. It was awesome, we had so much fun! The bf came with us and we had a blast, dancing, celebrating, and dancing some more!

I always love a great wedding, especially when you know people who attend.

Regardless, I would have had a blast anyway with my crazy sister and bf dancing up a storm on the church steps.

My closet is jam packed. My sister’s closet is jam packed. Regardless, we love clothes, we love fashion, we love shoes, we have too many bathing suits, and we LOVE Anthropologie! Our super cool other mom actually introduced us to the store in Arizona, and we have shopped there ever since!

Here are a few fun faves that I picked personally from their website. I cannot get enough of their bathing suits, and we actually don’t have any…. because if you knew our mother- she would say:

“Definitely no more…you could go on vacation for months and wear a different one every day- the pair of you!!!”

Hehehe… I have a little secret! L.L. Bean has fantastic stuff! Everyone thinks that it is totally old lady/homemaker/cabin hermit stuff! But helloooo… they are either revamping everything about them, or they are just starting to get onto the radar of everyone else!

These are cute items and they are made to last, and I would totally buy them!
