Natalie & Maya are two friends who met in college, in different years, and became friends through a mutual friend in design school. We have lead very different lives: Natalie born and Canadian grown from day one, and Maya immigrating here from Croatia. The big city, Toronto, is where they reside, and love everything about it. They have both had their fair share of travelling the world and would travel more if they had the time or the money!

N & M started this blog about 2 years ago-a joint venture to see if they can in fact work together, because they eventually would have liked to have a residential interior design business. They discovered that they love eclectic and elegant interiors, beautiful packaging, simple and wonderful stationary, great and classic fashion, and seriously yummy food. All the makings of a wonderful place to share their inspirations, their travels and their lives. Allowing their readers and clients have a peek into what makes them who they are and what kind of people they are to work with.

The blog is their creative outlet from their day jobs. N the residential designer behind Nest Design Studio, and M an assistant project manager in the design department of a major bank. They love their daily lives, jobs, and what they get to come home to. N works out of a home studio surrounded by her 2 puppies all day, and M gets to come home to her lovely apartment and her husband. They both are driven by their tummy’s, are happiest in the warm sun turning into golden babies, and love spending time with their families/significant others and their furry pets!
