I did not have time to post anything about this last night as we got home late … but I really wanted to share it with you.  I thought this celebration was very special as is very new to me too.
Meet Mabel, our niece (Brian’s brothers daughter).   She is 101 days old today and the first baby in the family.   Yesterday we celebrated her 100th day birthday.
In Korean culture the 100th day birthday is celebrated to mark the survival of a child.  The 100 days was usually a very difficult/crucial period for a newborn and to celebrate the special day a small feast is prepared.
